Africa has everything to be the leading continent in the world! It is the richest continent by natural resources, it has the human resource to transform its natural resources, and it has the size to be the biggest market.

However, the current African nations were not designed to do it alone! All the African nations would undoubtedly thrive by rejecting the colonial borders and deciding to unite under one nation, a United States of Africa. People of African descent in the diaspora also need to join the effort if we want to succeed.

If we want Africa to finally allocate its resources efficiently and responsibly, the continent needs to collectivize its resources and devise plans to utilize them for the benefit of all Africans on the continent and in the diaspora. I believe that the efforts devise these plans should involve both Africans on the continent and the African diaspora.

We can no longer allow the entire world to continue exploiting and thriving with African resources, while Africa struggles to develop.

I would like to close this series of posts with a proverb and two quotes.

My proverb is an African proverb that says, “if you want to go fast, go alone. But, if you want to go far, go together!” I ask you to join our fight for unity, strength, prosperity, and progress.

My first quote is from Frederick Douglass, who said, “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” I want progress and I know that you also want progress. Therefore, let us fight for it!!!

My final quote is from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who said, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” Change will not happen overnight. But, if we join our efforts in the pursuit of this dream, no one will be able to stop the tide and Africa will unite as the United States of Africa.

Out of many, like the 5 fingers on one hand, we shall become one unstoppable fist.

Thank you for your attention and I look forward to meeting you and joining with you in this journey towards a better Africa, a United States of Africa. I have this dream!!!

Let’s get to work!

AfriKili, African intelligence to build a new Africa!
