Hi, Welcome to AfriKili
My name is Mfumu Simba Kwambamba Antoine Ngumbu, known as “Thony.” I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa, and I am the founder of AfriKili.
The word “AfriKili” is a contraction of Africa and “Akili,” which means “intelligence” in Swahili, the most spoken African language in Africa. Consequently, AfriKili means African Intelligence.
AfriKili is a Pan-African movement that works to build bridges between Africa and the global Pan-African diaspora, in order to change the image and uplift Black communities, by focusing on the following 3 pillars:
(1) Pan-African history: we need to highlight and disseminate this knowledge because we need learn the real history of both Africa and the Pan-African diaspora to avoid repeating mistakes of the past and build a better future.
(2) Pan-African business: we need to support and advance business initiatives because we will never maximize our potential and reclaim our economic destiny without financial capital. As the richest continent in the world with its natural resources, Africa offers a great opportunity for Black people around the world to create financial wealth. However, continental Africans and the Pan-African diaspora need to work together to take control of the continent’s economic activity, resources, and destiny.
(3) Pan-African political action: we need to form coalitions and drive political action because we have the power to shape societies by collective action. AfriKili wants to empower people to take control of political systems and shape them to fulfil our aspirations. As far as Africa, we dream of a thriving African continent in the form of a United States of Africa.
Afrikili exists for the following people on the African continent and in the diaspora:
(1) People who want to eliminate the predatory status-quo in Africa and Black communities in the global Pan-African diaspora.
(2) People who want Africans and the African Diaspora to take full control of the Africa’s natural resources.
(3) People who believe that Africa can become the most powerful economic force on the planet by eliminating its colonial borders, by prioritizing trade between the different regions, and by combining efforts of Africans on the continent, African Americans, and all other Africans in the diaspora.
Unlike other movements that focus on maintaining colonial borders and keeping Africa balkanized with its micro-States, the AfriKili movement actively advocates rejecting the shameful colonial heritage of national borders and creating a United States of Africa.
Asante sana! Peace be with you.
